The documentary was way above any expectations I had. The directing of the film was excellent and it was perfect to correlate to Shay’s life. It made you feel his up and downs and was emotional in parts. The surprise at the end with the ceremonials of former team mates was great and inspiring for members of the gym who look up to them to aspire to.

October the 17th was a brilliant night. It expressed numerous faces from all shapes of life coming together for one occasion. To celebrate the achievements Shay Walsh has commenced so far and hopefully many more achievements to come, to watch a community grow, have other members have similar opportunities for their future. Shay has created a pathway for the young community to develop into high quality adults and for the Adults to gain some confidence and strength in day to day life from creating such a welcoming atmosphere.

I recently watched The Untold Story and I was absolutely blown away by this documentary. It beautifully captures the essence of Shays journey from his triumphant moments as an MMA World Champion to the profound challenges he faced after his career-ending injury. What struck me the most was the raw and honest portrayal of his resilience. The film does an incredible job of showing not just the physical battles he fought in the ring but also the emotional and mental struggles he overcame. His determination to find a new purpose and his dedication to giving back to his community through his MMA gym were truly inspiring. It's a powerful and uplifting film that left a lasting impression on me.
